Editing, Manuscript Assessments and Mentoring

I work with writers to hone and strengthen poetry, non-fiction and genre-defying manuscripts. My assessments are based on carefully understanding your intention and vision for your writing. In conversation, we work to enhance your work’s art and communicative power at the level of word, line, page, and whole work. My tailored assessments can help you to see your manuscript with new eyes, gain clarity about how to make your work publication-ready, and feel supported and energised in the revision process.

I also offer developmental and copy editing services. I bring to my editing practice a poet’s eye for detail and expression, a depth of knowledge in history and critical theories, and over a decade of experience in creative and scholarly publishing, including as guest editor for Cordite Poetry Review and specialist editor for the Treaty Authority.
